The shooter category (consisting of first-person shooter or FPS, and third-person shooter or TPS titles) is one of the most popular among game genres. There are several titles from this genre which are among the most popular games of recent times. This blog is intended to introduce you to the world of gaming, in particular the world of two of the most popular FPS / TPS titles of recent times, Fortnite and Call of Duty.

The first game that will be discussed is Fortnite. Fortnite has been around since 2017, and there have been many new updates (such as new weapons and vehicles) that have come out each year. One of its editions worth mentioning is Fortnite: Battle Royale, which is another battle royale game where players or teams must survive and keep on killing / eliminating other players until they are the last one left alive.

The second game that will be discussed is Call of Duty. This game is a first-person shooter that has been around since 2003 and has gone through many changes to its gameplay. One of the more recent additions was in 2018 when a battle royale mode called Blackout was added. Blackout is a mode where players need to scavenge for weapons and gear before they can make it out of the map alive. This game is very popular among young men who play video games with their friends, but it is also popular with people who are 30 years old or older.

 

Fortnite 

Fortnite has become one of the most popular video games.

Within weeks, it became one of the most played games on Steam. And today, the game has been downloaded over 400 million times, which is a huge number for any video game.

In a short period of time, Fortnite has managed to capture their targeted audience. They have succeeded in doing so by creating a unique user experience that is accessible, fun and engaging. They have created an addictive game that is easy to play and hard to master. This is what makes Fortnite so popular among gamers from all around the world.

The game is free to play and it provides players with a lot of ways to play. It offers different modes that are very appealing to the audience. The game is available on all platforms and is easy to download and start playing immediately after downloading the game from the App Store or Play Store.

Epic Games, who are the developers of Fortnite, have indeed done a good job at capturing their audience. And here, it is their revolutionary marketing strategy which has largely contributed to their success.

Indeed, Epic Games did not wait until they were ready to release their game to start marketing it. They started promoting it well before it even launched in order to get the word out about what they had created and how much fun it would be if you played it with friends or even alone against other players online!

They started by using social media marketing to target existing fans. They used Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to promote the game and keep fans engaged with the game.

Additionally, Fortnite used Twitch streaming to broadcast live gameplay sessions on Twitch.tv and engage with viewers who were interested in watching other people play the game. This allowed them to have a larger player base than they would have had if they just focused on one video-streaming platform (like YouTube), which would have limited their total number of players.

Fortnite went viral because of its accessibility. First, it’s available on iOS and Android devices, so it’s easy to play anywhere (even on your phone while you’re in the same room as your kids). That makes it accessible for many different kinds of people—it doesn’t matter if you’ve got an iPhone or an Android phone, or if you’re playing at home or in a coffee shop, Fortnite is always there for you to play.

Each week, players can complete challenges and earn rewards by completing set tasks or leveling up their characters. And indeed, Fortnite has been around for quite some time now—its popularity has only gotten stronger as time goes on!

 

Call of Duty

Call of Duty has been a huge success for Activision and its publishing arm, Infinity Ward. A large amount of buzz about the game began to spread on social media platforms when Call of Duty: WWII released in November 2017, with gamers flocking in large numbers to play the game in multi-player mode online. Fans of the franchise were already invested in the story and characters, but the ability to play it together like never before provided something new and exciting.

The most recent edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 only released at the end of October, but it’s already the biggest-selling game of 2022. The game has also been released on consoles such as Xbox One and PS4, which helped increase its popularity even further.

Call of Duty spent the early 2000s building a following in the military gaming community. By creating a game that was accessible to an audience that was very soon already familiar with the series, they were able to establish themselves as a leader in the industry.

In addition to this, they have been able to maintain their popularity by releasing updates and new content regularly, which keeps players coming back for more. They also have many other ways of keeping their audience engaged such as social media and other forms of media like movies or books (many of which have also by themselves become quite well-known franchises).

Call of Duty is indeed a popular video game that has existed for years. It is an advanced first-person shooter that is played on computers, consoles, and mobile devices. The game is an action-packed game that has even increased further in popularity in recent years, as a multiplayer first-person shooter game that allows players to play against each other in teams or individually. This type of game requires players to have good coordination skills as well as the ability to shoot accurately at their opponents.

Call of Duty captured their targeted audience by creating a game that was easy to understand and play. The game features a lot of action and violence, but it does not have any sexual content. In addition, it has a very simple storyline that is easy to follow. These factors made it very appealing to children, teenagers and adults who are interested in playing this game.

The developers of this video game knew that they needed to capture their target audience within a short period of time, and also keep them wanting to come back for more in the long-term, if they wanted them to continue playing their product. They did this by creating a new and interesting story line / arc for each new version of the game, and also adding entirely new and different gameplay features and experiences from time to time, which would indeed keep players quickly and always interested, and also wanting more, each time … They also made sure that there was enough variety within each new version of the game they released so that players would not get bored even after playing any particular one for very long!

By doing this, Call of Duty captured their targeted audience in a short period of time, and retained / have retained them for a long period as well.

It is indeed quite the achievement that Fortnite and Call of Duty have become such huge games, and are still going strong today, even in the vastly changed world of today, which has increasingly become one of mobile gaming …

Mobile gaming has indeed enabled people to play games wherever they are, whenever they want. Whether it’s on their phone or on a tablet or even their TV (which can now be linked-up directly to their mobile and tablet devices)—whatever device works for them at any given moment. They can play with anyone, anywhere in the world. It’s an amazing new way of interacting with friends and family that doesn’t require us to be tethered to an expensive gaming console or computer. And it’s been a wonderful way for developers to reach new audiences who might not have been interested in traditional gaming before mobile games became so accessible.

And now? We’re finally starting to see that same kind of innovation from developers when it comes to consoles and PC games—as they start adapting popular PC and console titles in new and exciting ways to cater to this brave new world of mobile gaming!
